Sapporo Soka Kindergarten
April 18, 2012

Videos now playing on the world time clock

The world time clock in the entrance lobby (Nakayoshi Square) of the kindergarten is very popular among children. This clock displays the school seals, photos of the kindergarten buildings and children of the five Soka kindergartens around the world, and the local time of each school. Using the touch panel on the clock, the children can hear the kindergarten songs and greetings in the different languages of each country.
Many children stop by the clock when they arrive at the kindergarten. The touch panel provides them with a great way to stimulate their senses and meet their brothers and sisters around the globe before they begin their own individual activities.
In addition to the interactive features the children enjoy, this April the clock also began playing videos. These videos include an introduction to Sapporo Soka Kindergarten, as well as highlights of the children’s performances at the Children’s Festival and Graduation Concert.
Thanks to this unique clock, children are enjoying the new term and having a blast interacting with friends around the world. .
