41st Graduation ceremony
Sapporo Soka Kindergarten held its 41st graduation ceremony at the Prince and Princess Hall on March 16.
The graduating students entered the hall accompanied by a lively rendition of the song, "Ichinensei ni Nattara" ("When I Enter First Grade"). The hall was filled with parents that proudly watched the procession of cheerful children dressed in dark blue caps and gowns.
Following a rendition of the kindergarten song, the jewel princes and princesses, who had grown so much during their one or two years at the kindergarten, each said "Here!" in a loud voice when the classroom teacher called their name, and then the principal handed them their graduation certificate.
After the presentation of the certificates, the principal introduced guests and showcased the commemorative gifts. The children then listened attentively to a heartfelt message from the founder that was delivered by the principal.
The younger students then delivered a send-off message, and the graduating children recited the pledge. To close out the ceremony, the participants cheerfully sang "Zutto Tomodachi" ("To be friends forever"), an original graduation song written by the kindergarten students, teachers, and staff of this school year.
The kindergarten would like to sincerely thank all the parents that took part in the ceremony.
The kindergarten also sends its hearty congratulations and appreciation to all the graduating children that boldly passed through the Smile Gate as they embarked on their journey into a future full of hope. The kindergarten also sends such hearty congratulations and appreciation to the parents as well. Thank you very much once again.
