Kindergarten holds "Family Day" and an educational lecture

The kindergarten held "Family Day" and an educational lecture on the Autumnal Equinox Day, September 23 (Saturday). This year, all the kindergarten classes were divided into two groups of four classes, and the event for one group was conducted in the morning while that for the other group was held that afternoon.
As it was a national holiday, many parents that are normally unable to visit the kindergarten during the week because of work were able to visit the kindergarten. During the Family Day event, the children and their parents selected a favorite craft-making corner to visit, where they had a great time together. There were a variety of corners, such as a room for making a "dangling top" with milk cartons, a room for making binoculars with toilet paper tubes, a room for making a jumping toy with paper cups and rubber bands, and a room for making a Kendama (Japanese "cup and ball") with plastic bottles, ropes, knitting wool, and leaflet papers. The children were all smiles, spending a fun time with their beloved family members.
Following the handicraft time, an educational lecture was held. First, there was a book reading session of an original fairy tale written by the founder, Let's climb the mountain, which was accompanied by video images and music. After the book reading, Principal Kakuuchi gave a lecture, titled "Smile-filled Child Rearing: Warm words are a delicious meal."
Even though it was a holiday, a lot of parents came out to the kindergarten. We would like to thank all the parents who took part in the event and attended the lecture.
