Students participate in Osaka Junior High School Student Council Summit

On Saturday, November 11, students from Kansai Soka Junior High School's student council took part in the "Osaka Junior High School Student Council Summit" as representatives of private schools in Osaka. The summit was hosted by the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education and was held at the Osaka Prefectural Government Main Building.

The summit's theme was "Efforts to eliminate bullying from Osaka."
That afternoon, a meeting for the exchange of opinions was held at the Osaka Prefectural Assembly Hall. During the meeting, Mr. Shinichi Hamasato, a third-year student of Kansai Soka Junior High School, expressed his opinions three times. He bravely spoke at the meeting, in accordance with the philosophy incorporated into Soka Gakuen's watchword phrase: "There is no justification for violence and bullying."
