A graduate of the kindergarten performing well at Snowboard World Cup visits the kindergarten

On June 28, a surprise guest visited the kindergarten during a birthday party for those born in June.
The guest was Mr. Yuri Okubo, who took part in the snowboard slopestyle event and big air event at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games as a representative of Japan. He visited the kindergarten to report on his achievement, sparing time between training camps and competitions at home and abroad.
The children had given him a rousing cheer when he was performing at the PyeongChang Olympics on TV.
He placed second in the 2017–2018 World Cup Big Air men’s category and received a silver crystal medal from the International Ski Federation. He showed the medal to the children, which made their dreams get even bigger.

Thanks goes out to our big brother, Yuri, for showing us what dreams are made of! We hope that he takes care of himself, prevents injury, and does well on the world stage!
