Five-year-old student classes go on field trip to Atsuta

The five-year-old student classes went on a field trip to Atsuta on Friday, September 21.
The children first went to Atsuta Park, which had been renovated, with a nearby roadside station being newly established. At the park, the children took a look at the house where Josei Toda was born. They then moved to Atsuta Beach, where all the five-year-old students recited the "Atsuta Pledge" and cheerfully sang Atsuta Mura ("Atsuta Village"). The children were delighted to see local residents waving the tricolor flag to welcome them along the beach.
The students then posed for a commemorative photo in front of the Josei Toda statue at Toda Memorial Park. After eating a delicious lunch, they had a blast running around the spacious lawn square and playing the "Find the Teachers" game. Before returning to the kindergarten, a student representative presented a letter of appreciation to the staff at the memorial park, who gave the children souvenir juice drinks, which they were delighted to receive.
While the field trip had been postponed due to the earthquake, the children were able to spend a pleasant day without any incidents under the clear autumn sky. The kindergarten sincerely thanks the parents for their kind support for the trip.
